THE STORY

With a passion for military uniforms stemming from her father who served in the British Army, Pinky was always fascinated in the design, fabrics and trimmings associated with uniforms.

Pinky's classic Napoleonic jackets were inspired by a love for costumes. From customising outfits for friends attending festivals, to making beautifully crafted pieces worn by pop stars, celebrities and party people worldwide.

Every jacket has a unique story to tell and is expertly tailored by a team of craftsmen and women in London‘s East End. They have become a staple at special events, live performances and on dance floors.

We are thrilled to introduce a pre-loved jacket rental service so you can experience their unique charm first-hand at your own special occasion.

All we ask is that you have as much fun as possible wearing your jacket. Once returned, the jacket will be dry-cleaned, ready for someone else to rent, enjoy and carry on its legacy.

SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT

Pinky Laing is committed to develop a sustainable fashion brand by reimagining her business model and embracing a circular approach. Recognising the challenges of tracing the origins and life cycles of the fabrics and trimmings she uses, Pinky is determined to bring about positive change.

Working towards sustainability with her range of jackets and capes, Pinky has made the conscious decision not to purchase any additional fabric but to maximise the use of existing stock available at her production factory in London's East End.

Taking a strategic approach, Pinky aims to minimise waste and contribute to a more sustainable industry by repurposing these materials and creating unique pieces crafted from the remnants, referred to as "dead stock." An exciting new line of limited edition military capes will feature storm flaps, velvet collars, and hidden pockets and incorporate the familiar metal buttons and trimmings that loyal customers recognise from the existing stock of iconic military jackets.
